Yep I've tried to reach out but never heard back, it's a crowded ecosystem who knows, I've followed his war reporting for a very long time, I cite him a couple times in tremble the devil.

I've never seen him interact in the Substack comments it's probably a safer bet using contact at Scheerpost site.. they're a small friendly crew and fab collection of authors too. :~)
No response, canceled my membership, there's a large group of people who like to jerk themselves off trying to work in prisons acting like they care, when in reality all they want to do is feel like a good people and score the moral points. 
Looks like that most people alive at this point, last time I try and waste my time and money on a stranger. 
Insightful. I had a DUI 4 years ago. Worst night of my life in community jail. The "rich" white gal who was fretting over why bail was taking so damn long (on a Sat - not realizing how LUCKY I was to get out at 930 pm). Gave me a day to watch the dynamics once I got out of the drunk tank and thrown into an area with real convicts. One black gal was super nice. Let me use her clean toilet as my cellmate threw used feminine products on the floor & stole my bunk pad. To this day I wish I had gotten her name to put in a good word for that girl.
I like the audio! Looking forward to listening to some of the existing articles (perhaps with some addendums if there are any interesting updates to some of the Covid ones)
Oh yeah absolutely, there's going to be an extemporaneous running commentary because otherwise I would go insane just reading my own words back to myself!!

Yeah it's interesting how quickly that environment brings out both the best and worst in people.
