It finally got through my septuagenarian brain that commenting here, is not like other social media, which I boycott.  Maybe I will even be able to engage in some simulating dialog, consistent with the simulating writing.

Having followed as a lay person human origins, I do not recall such an interesting if heretical theory, and love the way the Geology was woven into the biology.  It has the ring of truth.  Does anyone else recall a theory that weaves together Geology and Biology as this essay does?  It seem unique to me.

Speaking of heretically pointing out the lack of emperor clothes, the demolishing of the persistence hunting dogma reminds me of how often the sceintific mainstream lemmings itself into nonsense as a herd.

The connection of altitude with water retention makes a lot of sense, I had not heard of this, before.

"As any old stoner will tell you, even the weed of just a few decades ago was far tamer than today’s bespoke hydroponic strains that can send you straight up a giraffe’s ass faster than you blink. Reportedly."

LOL. "Reportedly" -- never appreciated an adverb so much as this one, at this time, in this place!
