Welcome to the home of Harvard to the Big House!!

Thanks for asking Connor, great question!

After 9/11 occurred during his first few days at Harvard, Dan Sirotkin convinced his NSA handlers to allow him to switch around his studies to begin learning Arabic, in addition to the Government and History of the Middle East. Following his graduation in 2005, he put his four years of studying Arabic and the wider Middle East to work, providing analysis on some of the NSA’s most sensitive and salient Middle Eastern missions.

He finished his career at the NSA in Counterterrorism, where he produced analysis on one of the deadliest terrorist groups in the world and was able to put his three years of studying Levantine Arabic to work - despite the fact that his language skills were only about as good as those as a severely learning-disabled preschooler, luckily for him most terrorists aren’t terrible erudite to being with.

This “Ask Me Anything” post on Reddit explains the backstory behind the book he left the NSA to write, Tremble the Devil, which was first released in 2006 and argued that the most dangerous threat facing America wasn’t terrorists attacking us from the outside - but instead an inevitable socioeconomic implosion and campaign of domestic indigenous terror due to the racial inequities perpetuated by the various carceral policies that have bulwarked inequality throughout almost all of our history, most recently the War on Drug’s destruction of the black family and perpetuation of mass incarceration.

And he would set the youngest American ever to win Olympic wrestling gold on his course to the top of the podium at Rio, coaching Kyle Snyder year-round for his sophomore and junior years of high school and then spearheading the efforts to get him to the Olympic Training Center for his senior year. Dan then headed off for his stint in the state prison in 2014, where his first cellmate would happily offer to murder him many times, and then get released a few years later and actually murder two people on camera. Dan was released from the joint in 2018, and began his new and exciting career as a waiter at various area restaurants all poorly managed enough to have become desperate enough to be forced into hiring a notorious ex-con.

You can listen to him recounting how his 1,300 days of incarceration changed his outlook about just about everything in his life at this link.

And then a few years after his release, in January 2020 - long before anyone in the mainstream media was sounding the alarm about COVID-19 - he was meticulously tracking all of the emerging news around it, and doing his best to sound the alarm about all of the anomalous characteristics carried by its genetic signature, and analyzing the ensuing geopolitical implications of its spread.

After being submitted way back in April 2020, finally a few months later in August and after months of the mainstream scientific press decrying the idea as a “conspiracy theory,” Dan and his father became the first authors to write a peer-reviewed paper arguing that COVID-19 might have begun in a lab, specifically using a well-known viral engineering technique known as “serial passage.”

If you want to learn what’s coming next from this pandemic and are already familiar with our peer-reviewed paper the idea that COVID-19 may have been engineered in a lab, you’ll find all the missing puzzle-pieces you’ve been looking for in these articles:

Golden Silkworms in Pandora's Box: Why Understanding COVID-19 and Seasonal Influenza as Quasispecies Swarms reveals the Quantum Origins and Cryptic Fates of Human Pandemics.

Welcome to Mengele’s Laboratory: The Epilogue to Golden Silkworms in Pandora’s Box - One Year Later.

A Grin Without a Cat: Unbottling the Quasispecies Origins of SARS-CoV-2’s Enigmatic Furin-Cleavage Site.

And if the idea of tinkering with viruses in the lab still seems like science-fiction, you can start with any of these for more popular approaches to the science involved in the origins of our ongoing pandemic:

Logistical and Technical Exploration into the Origins of the Wuhan Strain of Coronavirus (COVID-19): Back in January 2020, my dad and I tried to sound the alarm, but traitors throughout the American government made sure we were silenced, and so you watched your loved-ones die preventable deaths.

Azrael’s Inoculation Against a Hardened Heart: Can the origins of the COVID-19 Pandemic be found within one of the most ancient Biblical stories?

Weaponizing the Swarm by Weaponizing the Stupid: Why the suppression of "serial passage" as the technique used to craft SARS-CoV-2 depended on the cowardly compliance of morally and ethically bankrupt academic and journalistic worlds.

No monkey ever reheated a frozen burrito: What The Expanse tells us about the COVID-19 pandemic and the long sordid history of serial passage gain-of-function research, and the decades-long effort to whitewash it.

Only Yahweh’s Breath Can Save Us Now: Why the ongoing COVID-19 Pandemic is yet another manifestation of the Angel of Death, which can only be stopped with an ancient weapon pulled from a stone.

Molecular Evidence for COVID-19's Engineered Origins: Maybe it’s time to take a moment with someone who was literally scrubbing prison toilets a few years ago, and yet can still easily explain how obviously engineered SARS-CoV-2 actually is.

First come the warnings, then comes the apocalypse: Why nothing that's about to happen as the COVID-19 Pandemic accelerates should come as even the tiniest bit of a surprise.

China owns Nature Magazine’s Ass: Debunking claims from the article “The proximal origin of SARS-CoV-2” argument that COVID-19 definitely wasn’t engineered in a lab way back in March 2020.

Angels, Demons, and At-Home Pandemic Safety: Why surviving this pandemic is going to require a little bit more than listening to the corporate media and the entrenched medical establishment, and might even involve the Good Book.

The Moral Depravity of America's Academic Elites Will Kill Us All: Why the wanton immorality of America's institutions of higher learning and scientific research is the deadliest force on the planet.

And if viral engineering and current events aren’t your thing, escape down the last rabbit-hole you’ll ever need in the dreamers down from the mountains series that explores and then challenges absolutely everything you think you know about topics as varied as human prehistory and the meaning of True Love:

梦想家从山上降下来 - dreamers down from the mountains - part one: Why the secrets to humanity's origins as well as our shared fate can only be found within the myths, fables, and dreams we left behind on the Roof of the World.

dreamers down from the mountains - الحالمون ينزلون من الجبال - part ii: Close your eyes and follow humanity's tale back through the fabric of the cosmos, across the gravitational rainbow, and into the myths and stories that make us who we are.

parte tres - soñadoras desde las montañas - dreamers down from the mountains: Place your hand on the past and learn what ancient fishes can teach us about the meaning of True Love, and why we've always been much closer to each other than we've been allowed to think.

dreamers down from the mountains - part iv - חולמים יורדים מההרים: Listen to the ancient whispers of the gods as they try and warn all of us against what happens when humanity forgets where we came from, and we attempt to break away from the stories that forged us.

“The dreamers of the day are dangerous men” - dreamers down from the mountains - part v: “I will open my mouth with a parable, I will utter enigmas hidden from the beginning - stories that we have heard and known, that our ancestors have handed down to us.”

And to learn more about my time behind bars and how that legacy very directly relates to my family’s attempts to get to the bottom of the COVID-19 Pandemic:

Dr. Karl Sirotkin's Letter to the Select Subcommittee on the Coronavirus Pandemic: Given that there's some exciting interviews happening next week, made sense to get everything on the record and in black-and-white so that no one can ever plead ignorance or say we didn't try.

The Ex-con Who Kicked the Idiots’ Nest: Court documents indicate Matt Ridley and Alina Chan’s alleged involvement in a corruption and bribery scheme aimed to cover-up the origins of COVID-19.

The DARPA-taped Letters: Why have several researchers with close ties to the CCP been undermining the dissemination of peer reviewed research which looks at a lab origin of the COVID-19 Pandemic and gain-of-function research?

Burn the Ivory Towers to the Ground: What Happens when dangerous and unproven scientific research techniques meet the military-industrial complex? Are modern research scientists still controlled by any code of ethics at all?

What’s it like when your government tries to have you murdered? - Seems to be a theme for the family unfortunately.

only a little while here: Written after a year in prison, back before either all of my friends had become corpses, or I had become a corpse to them, this letter captures the last vestiges of optimism I had.

These additional essays reflect on my experiences with different elements of the criminal-justice system:

What you will get:

Subscribe to my Substack so that you’re first in line to get my thoughts and impressions about the next story that will change everything before the mainstream media has any clue what’s unfolding, as 2021 becomes a defining year for all of us.

You’ll also be helping fund my writing (and treats for everyone) as I document my reflections on my time behind bars from the little room I rent out above a garage in Harvard to the Big House, a memoir about how my life lead to prison, how to keep as many others as possible out, and what my time coaching everyone from JV linebackers living in Section 8 to Kyle Snyder taught me about how to use sports and other hallmarks of American meritocracy to find a way off of the horrifically dangerous path the American discourse about race and equality is currently going down.

If the 20 months I spent as my prison’s special education tutor - teaching and mentoring young inmates ages 18-22 with educational disabilities - taught me anything, it’s that the current race-baiting public discourse would be utterly baffling to those young men, that (for reasons I’ll explain in my writings) if anything hurts them far more than helps them.

What Critics Say About Dan’s Writing

“Cuts through the media blather to give an honest accounting of the sort of complexity inherent in analyzing and understanding the phenomenon of terror.”

“An eye-opening read, deeply philosophical and scathing in the best way.”

“Bravo and thank you for this series. It is quite literally the best thing I've read in the last 10 years. And I see what you did here: ‘…of the North Aegean like Lesbos, scissored between the Greek and Turkish coasts.’”

“Go back to your desk and re-do that worksheet, I can’t read anything you’ve written.”

  • Mrs. Mongelluzzo, my second-grade teacher.

“Brilliant, and wonderfully written on top of that” – “No right or left, just facts and history” – “A hugely absorbing and very timely offering.”
